A daughter of National Cutting Horse Champion, Californio, and the lovely Whippoorwill
Duke daughter, Whippoorwill Pazazz. Salus is a
gem to have around and a top notch broodmare. Her daughters are
highly acclaimed. All of them are lovely to look at with breathtaking movement.
Salus had her first stud colt June 1, 2007 by Painter's Pine Ridge. At this time, we plan on keeping him as a stallion prospect. We never dreamed we would be blessed with such a grand mare in our herd! This treasure of a mare is in foal to Whippoorwill Daybreak for a 2008 foal. |

Flicka is a superb broodmare. She has given us 2 black fillies and a bay stud colt. All were sold before weaning! That is quite an accomplishment. Her sons and daughters are lovely to look at and are tremendous athletes to boot! All are deep bodied with excellent conformation.

Stardancer has a long story of horse hunting behind her! In the fall of 1998, we went to look at some horses for sale in Montana. Since the owners wouldn't sell the mare we really liked, we ended up buying a yearling black filly out of the mare and by Tru-West Pure Prairiesmoke. She was a filly we were really looking forward to having in our herd. It was a sad day when we had to put this filly down in February of 1999 from a pasture accident.
Later in 2001, the original H-Saracen mare we were interested in, Mon Tana Dancer, came up for sale. The timing was wrong for us and someone else bought her right away. I contacted her new owner a few months later and he told me the story of how he had wanted the filly I had bought in 1998 and now he got the mare I had always wanted. I asked if he wanted to sell that mare yet - he said no. He always gave me that answer every time I would ask him! On May 3, 2003 the smokey black mare, Mon Tana Dancer, foaled the palomino filly, Red Rose Stardancer, by Triple S Bald Eagle. She was offered to us at 2 weeks old and we couldn't help but snatch her up! And now, we sure are glad we did. Mon Tana Dancer passed away the summer of 2006 and I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to have such a fine daughter of hers in our barn.

She is by the palomino stallion, Triple S Chinook. Her mother is the highly cherished Whippoorwill Salus, a Californio daughter. Windfall is lovely. She has a big, brilliant trot. Her attitude is welcoming and pleasant. Pictured above as a three year old.

| We never planned on a creme, but here she is!
Foaled May 21, 2006, Bella was an arrival to look forward to. This cross had
been in my mind for quite some time, so her birth was a celebration. If she matures
like we are expecting, she will be another fabulous mare to carry us into the future.
Bella's sire is the well known reiner and Breyer model, Montana Harvest Her mother is the lovely Whippoorwill Salus, a Californio daughter. Bella has an in-your-pocket personality. Her stride at the walk and trot is long and reaching. She has a wonderful working canter. We can't wait to get her going under saddle and see what she can do.
